Date: Saturday, March 16, 2024
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Time: Please plan to arrive at 7:45 a.m. to check in. The day of service begins at 8:00 a.m. Volunteers should be prepared to stand, kneel, lift, and bend on a regular basis for the duration of their service on the beach. Upon arrival, all volunteers are required to complete a liability waiver.

Parking: Parking is limited at the Wedge. We recommend carpooling, as there is only street parking off of Oceanfront, Channel, and E Ocean Blvd.
Meeting location: We will have a UCR Alumni & Family point person at the Surfrider Foundation tent (indicated on the map with the blue pin) from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m.
What to bring: Please bring gloves, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle to keep you clean and comfortable. Water may not be available on site, so you are encouraged to bring your own. There are no bathrooms on site, so please make sure you prepare in advance. Day of Service lasts from 8 – 12:00 p.m.
What NOT to bring: No pets are allowed.
Shoe Safety: Wear comfortable close-toed shoes that you don't mind getting sandy or damp. Please avoid wearing anything that might get damaged by sand and surf.
