We are excited to kick off this year’s UCRAA Scholarship application cycle, and invite you to participate as a volunteer interviewer. In order to volunteer for this activity, you must have first scored/reviewed applications this award cycle. Your support plays a vital role in selecting the outstanding students who will receive scholarship awards from the UCR Alumni Association.
What to Expect:
- Timeline: Interviews for First-Year, Transfer, and Re-Entry will take place during the week of July 18-July 26.
- Format: Interviews will be via Zoom or at the Alumni & Visitors Center (determined by the region chair).
- Time Commitment: Interviews for the top 3-5 applicants will be 30 minutes each (2.5 hours). Deliberation will happen directly after the final applicant.
- Training: Each interview committee will be given the same questions to ensure consistency.
