Join the OC Alumni Alumni Network at Second Harvest Food Bank! Distribution Center volunteer shifts process nutritious food to be distributed to our Partner Network and the communities they feed. Volunteers assist in a variety of food processing projects, including sorting and inspecting produce, packaged foods, crates and boxes.

Time: 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

What to Expect:
- Repeated bending, walking, and moving.
- Tables and chairs are available to take breaks as needed.
- Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the shift to allow time for check-in.
- This opportunity is family-friendly but all volunteers must be at least 13 years old. All minors will need a signed waiver by a parent or guardian
What to Wear:
- Closed-toed shoes are required
We suggest wearing easily removable layers, as the temperature in the distribution center varies.
Directions & Parking:
Please park in the area signed for visitor parking. From the parking lot, head toward the building with the mural. Enter through the door marked Volunteer Entrance, located near the flagpole.
